		<description>I don&#039;t think you should count MapQuest out - you haven&#039;t taken a look at the what MapQuest now has to offer - which includes a Free Edition for developers to get started.  What I love most about MapQuest is the Flash/Flex API - wish the others would provide that.  With the API you get great searching functions including polygon searching using the Overlays,  corridor searching along a route.  You also get the great routing routines so you can use the API to optimize multi-point routes - route matrix which can present you with a table collection of routes so you can do what-if scenarios with you trip planning.  The Beta version of 5.3 includes a zoom out to a spinning globe view.  Anyway I know MapQuest is the big guy everyone wants to hate,  Google has been free for a while but it&#039;s pretty weak in the features out of the box compared to MapQuest.</description>
