Our good friend, Tedd the computer bargain guru, checked in last week with a site suggestion for folks yearning to learn more about High Definition TV (HDTV) and digital TV. The site he sent along looks quite good and is called: DTV Answers. The Nationals Association of Broadcasters started the site, and it has a plethora of information about the switch to Digital TV next spring and many other topics of interest for TV viewers.

Last week, another good friend of the show and our computer users groups in Grand Junction, CO, Ted L, brought me an article from Time magazine. Apparently Time magazine has been reading our articles here at HelpMeRick.com and/or listening to our show podcasts because they wrote a nice article about Web 2.0...computing online. One site Time magazine talked about in the article, is one that we haven't discovered yet. It's called Geni and can be found at Geni.com. Geni is the first site that I've seen that allows anyone, anywhere, with any computer (the very definition of Web 2.0) to research and create their family tree online. There is no cost and the interface is inviting and easy to navigate. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Thanks Tedd and Ted L! We always appreciate input and finds from our listeners/web visitors!

Forget it. Easy to use, maybe - sparse content with no data or links for further information.
