7 Days with Windows 7 – Day 2

Windows 7 offers some great performance improvements over Vista and some usability improvements over XP, but hey it’s Microsoft there is a lot of fluff and huh? moments in it too. In today’s installment of my ongoing week long affair with Windows 7, I explore some of the usability improvements and some of the quirky upgrades to Windows 7

  • Start menu improvements including recently used documents.
  • Control Panel improvements in navigation
  • New WordPad
  • New Paint
  • New Calculator

    One reason you have so few dialup readers is that much of your info is only accessible as video. Video is impossible with dialup. As a dialup reader, I am about to go away.

      Sorry to see you go, but after so many years, I unfortunately can’t design for the 5% of folks still using dialup. I do continue to write all my tips out step-by-step as well, however. So don’t go far!
