Adam and I just returned from our first Drupal user group meeting. Some nice folks in Denver (230 miles East of us) started a user group to discuss the new way we are managing our web site; using Drupal. Yesterday, we left Grand Junction at 1:00pm to attend the meeting held at Paris on the Platte (if this is what Paris is really like, I don’t think I will visit). The coffee was good and strong, however.
We met some nice Drupal web developers and programmers and some people who were thinking of using Drupal for their sites. We returned home at midnight and felt that the afternoon/evening was very productive.
We were by far the least knowledgeable of the attendees, but that’s why we went…to gain more knowledge. And we did gain some great new tidbits of information and hope to make more of the meetings. With information from the meeting, we hope to continue to improve the look and feel of our site.

Hey Guys,
I’m starting with Drupal and have been playing with some test sites, but can’t get tables down yet. Which version are you using, 5 or 6?

Good luck Walter. Overall, we are absolutely thrilled with Drupal. We are staying with 5 for awhile since some of the modules we use haven’t been ported over to 6 yet. But 6 looks great.
Thanks. I thought so. There are issues with the new Drupal and all the older modules don’t work. I have also done a site in Joomla, which I found to be pretty easy if you find the right template.
I enjoy the show, but haven’t been able to listen on a regular basis. Thanks for the podcasts. I’ve downloaded several. I listened to you from Crested Butte when I lived there on your old terrestrial station.
