I will have a hard time topping this one, but I figured there just may be some single ladies out there reading our site that are looking for that special someone. Putting this story off would just be a disservice to them.
Reading through my morning news updates I ran across (don't click on the link until you've read this post) this story from Reuters .
Most dating sites take roughly the same approach. You sign up for an account, look through pictures of people you might be interested in, create a profile on yourself with lots of vague descriptions, post a photo with a vague likeness of yourself, and begin correspondence with strangers who you expect to be completely honest with you but also be forgiving when they discover that you weren't completely honest with them.
Now there is a website that is designed to bring honesty into the Internet dating scene. The website mentioned in the Reuters article linked above posts pictures and profiles of prison inmates looking for love.
Yes, you're right, the idea is genius. Provide women who are fed up with the usual slime found in singles bars with a new alternative. Men who have been locked up are the perfect candidates for love. They won't judge you for who you are, they are reformed, they can appreciate arts and crafts, and poor cooking is not a problem.
Anyone who feels that they have looked everywhere for Mr. Right but it has always ended in heartache and disappointment probably hasn't tried finding a good man in prison. If you are looking for a man who is already out of prison and looking for a new relationship try MySpace.
