I sort the mail using labels and archiving. The search feature is very handy. Sure, it is different, but I found I like it the best of all my email accounts. The Spam "folder" has been very accurate keeping the junk out of my Inbox. I check it ocassionally in case legimate mail gets into it, but that is rare and once I tell Gmail it is not Spam, it does not happen again. I like it so I think you may want to give it a try too. I have yet to get spammed, but then I don't do much emailing, so I wouldn't make a good test case, but I've had since it started, so that's still a pretty good track record. The chat within your email is a very nice feature. I've only have one spam problem and that is the junk sent from craigslist. Other than that minor issue, I love it better than yahoo or hotmail.
