When backing up Internet Explorer favorites, the export wizard creates a file called "bookmarks.htm"...you can use this file to import your favorites into a new computer or even another browser.

I'm puzzled and hope you could help?

I followed the directions I was given to backup My Favorites (which are the same you are giving here) and I find I have at least TWO lists of Favorites, one is called Bookmarks and they both seem to contain slightly different files from each other, and when I backup the "Favorites" it seems to call it "Bookmarks". I'm really going bananas...is it possible to blend both lists under Favorites? Thanks for any suggestions.
