EULAlyzer can help you stay safe

I ran across this tool a few years ago, but more people have asked about it, so here you go. What this free tool does is analyze all those End User License Agreements (EULA) that we agree to blindly when we install new software or sign up for an online service.

After downloading and installing this tool, you can use it to analyze the agreement for you before you click agree. It will hunt for things like privacy problems, potential security issues, add-ons to the product you are installing that you didn’t realize were getting added (a huge problem), and other problems that you may overlook.

Definitely worth downloading and using if you are a serial downloader and love to install third party programs.

EULAlyzer®.

How to dual boot Vista and XP (with Vista installed first)

This article helped me immensely today. He doesn’t link the EasyBCD program in his article that is critical to getting everything going, but I’ve linked it here. He also links to another article of his that explains how to dual boot XP and Vista with XP already installed.

Good stuff!

Find where cell towers are located

Gene called in today and wondered how to locate where cell towers are for his service. MJ in our video chat room had two sites and I know we have one in Tedd’s archives. Here are the two that MJ shared:

Cell Reception
Antenna Search

Tedd, our bargain guru, sent me this site:

Convert audio files

Sally called today and wondered how to get her iTunes to a micro-SD card that she can then listen to on her cell phone. I’m not sure of the legality of this program, but it appears to do the trick. It’s called Sound Taxi.
