Oh, just reading my earlier comment I realized I didn’t say I do have AVG 8.5 Free and Spybot Search & Destroy 1.6.2. Am not sure what all IE or Qwest has nor how to find out. I don’t want to “x” out something important, too.

I am confused (not with your # of anti-virus & spyware “rules”) but how many I possibly have now. I moved from dial-up to Qwest Hi Speed Jan. ’09 & they provide “Windows LIve” which is, I think, IE. There was also a One Care program, too. I thought perhaps they might be conflicting so I deleted One Care (used Add/Delete).
There is “Configure Details” which I think ck.s connectivity. But my PC is slow to boot up. I looked in that dept. (can’t think of name right now) & tried to lessen that but some of the items in it, I have no idea what they are for & if they are important.
Do you have some answers I can locate on your helpful web site?

As I said in the article…two anti-virus products is bad. Mixing one anti-virus product and your anti-spyware product is fine and necessary. AVG is anti-virus and Spybot is anti-spyware. So that doesn’t violate the rule.
