ANSWER

Thanks for writing and great question. Two ways to troubleshoot your problem. First, make sure you are using the newest version of Firefox. Click Help –> Check for Updates to make sure.

Next, Click Start —> All Programs –> Mozilla Firefox —> Mozilla Firefox (safe mode). Using Firefox in Safe Mode will disable any add-on toolbars or plugins you have installed with Firefox. If everything works fine in Safe Mode, then you definitely know that one of your plugins is acting up and causing the crash.

Now you need to restart Firefox normall and go directly to Tools –> Addons. Click on each of your plugins and disable all of them and delete the ones you don’t need or use any more. You will be required to restart Firefox, do so. Go back to the Addons menu again and enable just one of your plugins. Restart Firefox and use the browser for awhile to see if everything works fine. If so, enable another plugin one at a time until you find the culprit.

Good luck and thanks again for writing.
