Yep, did a video on Microsoft's new Security Essentials last week, and use Antivir myself. For most of my clients, the AVG still works best since it doesn't require registration, codes, or have nags. Btw didn't microsoft release their own free version of anti-virus? There is also Avira one which I use... ain't to shabby. You have to look at one ad when it updates which is like once every 2 days or so. For protecting my ass for free... I can live with that. Sup Rick.

There isn't a big difference between the free and paid versions of any anti-virus software. The only time that I can think of actually paying for AV software would be in the case of a business roll-out that required a unique structure or additional support. For the consumer, free anti-virus software is the best and it makes me wonder sometimes why these companies even offer a paid for version for standard consumers. There isn't a very big need for it.
