I am trying to enter days on the job for tanks used in the gas field so they are on duty 24 – 7. I have set my start date and the other things it asks for such as 24 hour days. However when I enter the start date go to the finish date and then enter the tank number in resource notes and tab back to the task name the start date changes by itself and I have to go back and fix it. If the finish date was 12/31 then the 31 will change to 30 as I fix the start date and then I have to fix that also. Since I have at least 200 tanks often with more than 3 start finish dates this is driving me crazy. My 2003 Office Project was purchased in December and I see that now there is a 2007, but since I just spent over $600 on the 2003 I don’t feel like spending more. I am hoping someone out there can help me. Thank you very much Lovell (sackett1983@yahoo.com)
I recently installed AVG onto my computer after hearing about it from a friend at work, and I love it. It found 274 spyware files, and four trojan viruses. Norton never alerted me when a new spyware file was loaded onto my computer. Thank you for AVG. The only problem I had in cleaning off suspicious files is now I don’t have the ability to put a picture onto my background of my desktop. What do I need to do to fix it? Any suggestions would be helpful. (smwilliams2007@bresnan.net)
My battery stays charged o.k. on my Compaq laptop. The problem I have is my battery icon on the toolbar has gone away somewhere. I searched on-line and some recommended messing with the registry (not a big fan considering my skill level.) Seems this is a common problem (disappearing icons) with XP. I downloaded a free shareware battery meter that works fairly well, but would like to get the “original” on back working. Have tried control panel, power options, advanced and checked “always show icon on toolbar.” Still not working. Volume icon is also missing. Also, shouldn’t I have a volume meter that comes on for a few seconds on the screen when I use my “hard” volume buttons? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
