However, I struggled with my last Palm-based device every time I had to sync it to my desktop. That alone was enough to make me want to try a Windows-based PDA/phone. I've had it for about 6 months now and have never (knock on wood) had a sync problem - it is totally smooth and effortless. I've had the device lock-up a couple of times (must be a Microsoft "feature" of any Windows system), but never while sync'ed. Most Palms do not lock up during sync.
