I loaded Ubuntu linux on my laptop and it loaded my usb wireless adapter without problem. After I downloaded some driveres etc i got it to play windows media files and internet radio. User friendly and easy to install. They have come a long way since my previous try at Linux.
I’m still playing with Ubuntu on a ME & Ubuntu dual boot very old computer and I can see why they are migrating to ubuntu. As I find solutions for my unique requirements such as learning to use Wine for a few windows applications, I am getting closer to 100% ubunto every day. I am VERY unlikely to EVER use Vista!
That’s great to hear. Unless you need Windows programs, Ubuntu is an excellent choice.
