Anissa–so sorry this has happened to you! I wish there was a way to stop these people but I did contact western union and they basically in the short form —shrugged me off and said they have no legal responsibilty for scams
I just don’t see how this is when in Cameroon they know these people coming in are scammers with money coming in from other countries for pets? They should be forced to show real IDs like we have to and some type of ID for being a so called pet place since it is probably daily they walk in for money–BUT somehow I feel people at that Cameroon office are being paid off. They have to be! I tried to pick up money from a Kroger in Alabama while in college from my dad and with my drivers lisc. they wouldn’t let me have it because I had dyed my hair blonde and my picture showed light brown hair!! so I am sure they are being paid off to look the other way and personally speaking having lived in Egypt for work..this is how daily life works..you have to pay off everyone under the table to do anything things are so corrupt.

I have contacted every website I have found to have their ads posted on. I have personally emailed the scammers and told them I will do anything I can to deter them but I am sure they were laughing all the way to the next money pick up. I can only tell you what I have found to be true in life no matter who you are or where you are from: What goes around comes around.
This will get them in the end.

wow, i am shocked. today i was scammed by the sane person in one of the above emails. the story they gave me is EXACTLY the email i read above, only i was looking for a pomeranian puppy, and not a doberman. i am so thankful my gut instinct told me to do some research before trusting them and sending ANY money! what lowlifes!

somehow I thought that the woman never existed the same as the kittens.i wouldnt be that sure taht those phone numbers are of that woman, maybe the name is the same, but person is not..
i paid the first transaction but that was it, not worrying about the money, worrying that such people exist, bastards!!

OMG ! WE FELL FOR THE SAME TRAPPED. I ACTUALLY HAS HER PHONE NUMBERS AND ALL i did tarct HER NUMBER SHE’S IN GERMANY, ALL THE ADDRESS IS STATED EXCEPT HER NAME.. I DIDNT PAY FOR THE LIFE INSURANCE. NO TRANSACTION MADE AFTER THE FIRST PAYMENT.

I actually was scammed today.What a fool!! was buying two Ragdoll kittens from the isle of Man.Of course, as everyone else here received a sad introduction, this time the woman “giving away” the kittens was a cancer patient and her son looking after was allergic to cats.. Her name was Marie Sahid, she just asked me to pay 270e for the transportation of thekittens which i did… after few hours got an email from the “delivery company” asking me to pay 1500euro for the insurance, then when it hit me, and hit hard not the wallet but emotions as i was so excited.Of course i had to pay through Western Union to the addressee

so at the end i wrote both to the “poor woman” and the “delivery company” a gentle f**k off.
And then i went back to the adds website where i found an original add, so there were loads of other kittens being given away by same scammers, i informed the website management and the international air pet organization, so they are aware of that.

This seemed super shady but my sister-in-law likes to see the good in people. She kept sending me emails and then asked for all my info to get the dog sent right away. I kept saying I wanted to talk to my husband and she insisted she get my number to send me more info. She got quite rude saying she already told me the info and to just tell her my address.

Well I thought this is too good to be true. So using the email address, I did try looking it up on facebook. Her name in the email was Linda Morgan but when she was messaging to my phone her name was Linda Rutsey.

After looking around online I came across this site which confirmed that this was a scam. Luckily, all I gave her was my phone number

After reading a few of these posts i figured, it doesn’t hurt to ask more info about her and the animals. I asked for more pictures of the dogs and for their colors and for pictures of both the parents and grandparents. My sister was in Africa at the time so I told her that my sister wanted to come check out the puppies before I make the decision and if she sees one she likes she will just take it from there and fly back with it. I never got a response.

I’ll stick to a local place from now on.
