I thought it might be a good idea to make a complete list of open WiFi hotspots in Grand Junction, CO.

A WiFi Hotspot is a place where anyone can access wireless Internet for free and without setting up an account or through the use of a pay account. I also added a few pay sites as well.   4. Just noticed that you have Barnes & Noble listed as Paid, but your newest article indicates that it’s a Free WiFi now…

  5. You can also login as a guest at the Mesa State College – best place is the library second or third floor, near the middle. :-)

    In addition to free wi-fi at the downtown library location (5th & Grand), Mesa County Libraries offers free wi-fi at Orchard Mesa, Clifton, Fruita, and Palisade branch libraries.

    The Starbuck’s WiFi is free… and refills are only 54 cents if you are hanging around the lobby.

    On my way here, through Albuquerque and Santa Fe, all the McDonald Wifis were free. I haven’t checked out the one in GJ, b/c the library has THE best wifi, followed by Starbucks.

    Thanks Rick, for having this list, I knew I would be staying at my folks’ house and was worried that I wouldn’t be able to check my email!

    You can add the main Grand Junction Library building at 5th and Grand.
    You may have to go into the building to get the signal, but hey, it’s nice and quiet in there.

    Safeway wifi is free and you can get a signal from the parking lot!

    Bear Rock Cafe on hwy. 6&50 near sportsman’s warehouse has free wi-fi. Cozy spot not very crowded.
