I had a 17" MBP for a while, and while having the extra screen real estate was nice, traveling with such a cumbersome, heavy notebook was not. I swapped for a 15" and like it better, but still, I long for something with the power I need in a smaller package. I bought a 12" Powerbook for one of my users a few years back on a whim, and when it came in, I thought it looked kinda like a toy, but it seems to be the notebook of choice when people have to go on the road. I totally understand why the 13" MBP has been as popular as it has been. The day I get approval to buy another laptop for work, this is the one I’m going to have.
