How to detect keyloggers

Keyloggers are viruses (or can be hardware in an office situation) that log everything you enter into your computer…including passwords, user names, and account numbers. Don't take this problem lightly as it can lead to identity theft. Keyloggers are rare and if you run proper security software (search security on our site), you are not at risk. However, if you suspect a keylogger, use one of these tools to detect them:

SpyBot Search and Destroy

Keylogger Killer

I downloaded the program Anti-Keylogger Elite for a trial use,as advertised. After downloading, a screen appears requesting a username and password.
I entered my own name as user, but I had no password to enter.
I tried contacting the company with no sucess. The program placed a log on screen
in the middle of my monitor screen.Which seems to now be permanently there.
I have tried to uninstall the program.I used the safe mode and unchecked the
system restore,so it is not rebooted on restart.
The program will not uninstall WITHOUT A PASSWORD.
So I guess it is on my machine permanently. Please be cautious if you are considering this program–Anti-Keylogger Elite.

I downloaded and installed this program on my computer(poor computer,”sorry about that”).
The program IS the problem,Not the solution.
I could not get it off of my screen,it kept popping up over and over.I had a warrning that it had placed a hook on my other programs.I went to Remove Programs on my computer, but
it will not Uninstall without a password, which I don’t have and never receieved.
When starting my computer,it loads every time.I ran Spybot
and went to programs on startup and unchecked the box so it would not run on startup. It is still on my computer, but not on my monitor screen. So far,I have heard nothing more from it.It may still be causing mischief,I’m not sure.
I hope this comment helps somebody with a similiar problem, and
if you learn how to remove the program from our computers,
    PLEASE LET US KNOW!!
