I wish I could, but again, you need someone sitting there with you to explain how this works on your machine. The article above is designed to give you an overview of how they work, but you need more customized help to put you over the hump. Good luck.

Sorry, too much info their for me to properly diagnose and recommend from afar. As for your "Send To" question, you will NOT find that in a folder...you will find it AFTER RIGHT clicking on a Folder or a File. Good luck.

Hi Rick
I unpluged my external drive "K" 3 days ago, don't know what to do, I have been using it for back up & restore point for 2years,
but 3 day ago I pluged a flash drive in (8gb II-freecom ) for the first time, to me it was just a mem stick, it had some files or data on already I didn't know this I bought it new, I didn't understand it took it out, using the safely remove hardware metod, but a "G" drive came up on the screen telling me to remove the drive, later on I desided to do a restore, but was unable as the pc was unable to find the restore drive "K" just greyed out, same with my back ups, have I lost my back up & restore points ? is my drive a goner ?
Help me Rick thanks a lot KW UK

Really? "I have one, I just don't know how to use it?" Wow.

You guys do indeed fill the niche for the beginner computer user.

I wonder if this same argument would work with my wife and the vacuum. I know we have a vacuum, honey, I just don't know how to use it. Oh wait, you mean I have to PLUG IT IN?
