This is the first post I have written since Monday. I have had my wrist in a splint for the past few days. On Sunday I was on a family bike ride and I thought it would be funny to splash through a big mud puddle beside my kids.
As it turns out puddles filled with irrigation water tend to grow scum and scum tends to be as slippery as ice. First thing I knew I was laying on my back under my bike.
On Monday my wrist was so sore that I had to cancel a few appointments so that I could see the doctor and get some x-rays. My wrist isn't broken, but it hurts a lot.
Over the past few days I have had to work on computers with only one good hand. My left hand. I am right handed.
If I had posted something on the site it would have been something like this:
Fed red bed test rest were as wet wrest dear car rat sat sara Sears cede sea deaf fad sad read we see tear sweat sweet retarded…
No related posts.
Sorry to hear about that, I do hope you can be two handed again soon. I hope your kids learned something from that stunt and it will not be a total waste.
Is this a computer blog or “The Days of Our Lives”?
As the hit country song title goes, “Here’s a Quarter, Call Someone Who Cares” (chuckle #1).
I thought maybe you also hurt your left shoulder ? from reaching so far for something to blog about (chuckle #2)!
You left out the most important part of your story: did you learn anything (chuckle #3)?
You also left out dozens of other left-hand words, the most obvious being “fat”. You must have made a real tsunami ? sorry I wasn’t there to see it (chuckle #4)!
Seriously, though, GET WELL SOON, Brother Adam!!!
Deciding about what to write about is a very specific process for me. Here is my criteria:
1. Will people respond either positively or negatively to it enough to comment on it?
If the answer is "yes" I write about it.
Like the sands of an hour glass…
