There are quite a few commercial grade operating systems that are Unix based, and if you could get the word out to businesses around town, you may get a few system administrators that support Unix based systems to come to the group as well. So far I've had mixed results. It looks like I will have to have a small partition or virtual machine to run a few Windows programs that I cannot do without(!). The only thing I have found so far that I cannot do with Ubuntu is watch Netflix instant movies. One delimma is that Windows XP works so well that the Ubuntu/XP decision is difficult. I just wish Microsoft would leave XP alone. I cringe every time they "helpfully" update my system! As you can tell, I am interested in a Linux users group.
