Dang. Last night I shut off the computer. This morning-- no toolbar! Of course, I know how to get it back, but the fix doesn't seem permanent. My guess is that the disappearance started due to an update is not compatible with the 2003 version that I still have. Possible?

It's baaaack! The first method did not work-- I did not even have the menu bar shown in the video. But in the upper right corner, a drop-down menu DID show "view" leading to "layout" and "toolbar." I am happy-- and curious about what happened.

Hello John. Without seeing what you are seeing, I can't help beyond what is in the tip. Good luck.

Neither option worked for me unfortunately but a hidden toolbox can be accessed by clicking on the arrows under view. I would still like to get the main toolbar back though?
