I am no longer able to view emails that have been forwarded at an attachment. I get a “Note: forwarded message attached.” notice in the body of the email, but there is no attachment. This just started a few days ago. I’m using both outlook 2003 and outlook express 6. I can log onto bellsouth.net and look at the email and the attached forwarded message there, but they do not come through when I download my email.

I love your newsletter. I hope you can help me. While I’m using Word 2000 the bar (bar has the icon and name of program on it) in the task bar will turn orange and start pulsing. If I click on it it will show the previous window and then go back to window I’m working in. What, if anything, can I do to correct this?
    Thanks,
    jackie S

I believe this is a Windows consideration rather than a Word 2000 problem. I am also assuming you are using Windows XP; anything else, and this won’t help. You can download a program from Microsoft called Tweak UI that will allow you to control the way the taskbar buttons respond to program activity. It will let you stop the flashing altogether, or specify the number of times the button will flash.

This link has a description of the program and a further link to the download screen:

The “Focus” section covers your concern.
