Ed called in looking for a way to encrypt or protect the information on his flash drive. Here are a few solutions we thought of.

While we discussed encryption, you may also consider password protection.

1. You could use WinZip [1] and password protect a zipped folder or file.

2. Lockngo [2] is a program that password protects all kinds of drives.

3. Folder Lock [3] is another program that password locks any flash drive.

4. CryptainerLE [4] is a free utility that also performs this function.

5. USB Vault [5] is highly rated also.

If this helped, consider buying me a beer or an Americano! [6]
