Learn how to grow and can your own food, try to keep a year?s supply of food stored, properly dated and rotated for freshness, provide for water purification, and learn as many skills as you can, especially computer technology. These are just a few ideas talked about on what are ridiculed by the clueless uninformed as ?survivalist? (Ayn Rand-type) websites. The main thing is, KEEP TALKING TO ONE ANOTHER. Short-wave radio is a useful antidote to the groupthink of the totalitarian-propaganda media. If we are properly prepared to survive economic hard times ? get out of debt as much as possible ? ?they? are going to have a EXTREMELY hard and dangerous time indeed taking away from freedom lovers anything we don?t want to give.
