This new laptop I have is on Vista, and it's been doing this ever since I loaded it. Sometimes, in the box where it shows you the details of the send/receive, if I make the little pin go sideways...it will not do it for a while. I noticed that email was getting hung up in my outbox and therefore either deleting or moving to the drafts folder. But, I can not send email. Every time I send they get hung up in the outbox. I am running Outlook 2007 on a Vista platform. The only thing I can think of is that immediately prior to having this problem I upgraded my antivirus software from AVG 7.5 free edition to the 8.0 free edition. Web browsing is very bogged down in addition to the problem with sending email. Although, receiving email is no problem. Thanx in advance for any help you can provide. I am having this very problem. I contacted Verizon, my ISP and they ran all kinds of tests and nothing worked. I am also running Vista, now with SP1 installed about a week ago, but my Outlook is 2003, so the common denominator is Vista. Have you installed SP1? Do you Verizon as your ISP? I am in Garland, TX.
