What exactly is the problem? I have never had a problem printing from Firefox in XP, Vista, Mac, or Linux. Also, I've never heard of any similar problem from any Firefox user after almost four years of using and installing it. What exactly are you experiencing when you try to print?

XP Pro (8 mos. old)
HP All in One (5 years old)
Dial up Internet

I love Firefox but have had trouble printing from it (my emails, receipts, hotel confirmations, etc.) since using Firefox exclusively.

Is there a way to fix this? Or should I continue Copy/Paste into MSWord?

I am sure it is not the printer's fault since it prints off line perfectly. Sue

It would help to tell you what the problems are, no?

The printer prints little, unreadable squiggles, run-together letters and numbers, signs, and gibberish. Nothing resembling the web page, although the pictures come out fine. If I copy and paste to MSWord, it prints just fine. However, Word does not print graphics and I spend lots of time lining up item number and prices in the right columns so I can print the confirmation.

I have changed the print size to 100% in Firefox Page Setup, done all the exercises HP suggested--unplugging the printer, uninstalling it, downloading other software--and still it prints gibberish. (I bought a new printer and had the same problem with it, so I returned it and am now using my old one again.)

If I buy another printer, could you recommend an inexpensive one that works well? I seldom use a ream of paper in 6 months and NEVER print photos. Sue

If you are using any of the Norton security products, that could be the issue. That turned up pretty frequently on a web search of Firefox printing problems. If you are not using Norton products, <a target="_blank" href="http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problems_printing_web_pages">try the suggestions on this page.</a>
