HelpMeRick.com started as a monthly tip site for beginners in 1996, and now supports our popular call-in computer show, and hosts thousands of useful computer tips and links.
Even if you are an experienced computer user, use our site as a resource to provide help to the friends, family members and co-workers you provide tech support for every day.

No cash. No guns. No juries. No stinkin’ rights. No stinkin’ due process. No stinkin’ privacy (most especially in financial affairs). Electronic finger prints, retina recognition software. Cameras on us everywhere we go. 1984 – Big Brother. That’s the bad news.
The good news is: with the Fair Tax we won’t need half of that crap. I think I’ll stick with my Ubuntu and program it to water my lawn and garden. And, obviously, keeping an eye on your own kids electronically so they don’t drown in the back yard pool is very cool.
Technology is a double-edged sword. Computers are merely tools. We need to find ways to use technology to live in ways that make the human psychological dominance heirarchy commonly known by the misleading, tyranny-friendly euphemism “government” irrelevant.
Just remember to keep an eye on the bad guys. They’re pretty damn clever – and very determined to steal ever-increasing amounts of your labor via taxation.
