Windows Vista offers an option to allow users to check boxes instead of using the keyboard/mouse combos to select multiple files. And there are some security risks like malware, spyware, rotkeets e.t.c. and for protect them i recommand anti malware (http://www.novashield.com/Anti-Malware.aspx) which will be affective on these type of threats.

Depending on the player that is showing the DVD, you might need to adjust the players volume or undo a mute button in the player.

It is VERY slow to select files using checkboxes! Isn't there another way to use Vista's Windows Explorer to select multiple files at one time??? It used to be so easy in XP Professional's version of Explorer. Highlight the first file, move the pointer to the last file you want, left click, and viola, you've selected 100 of the 100's of files a folder may contain!

You mean to tell me that Vista's Explorer doesn't have this basic feature???

The selection process in Vista is exactly the same as any previous version of Windows. I found this new feature to be helpful for those folks who have trouble using or remembering the keyboard/mouse combo selection techniques.
