I’ve mentioned before that I think that laptops make a lot of sense for computer users who travel. With a great deal of our communication and information gathering tied up in the computer world, not having this tool when traveling is a definite minus. My family and I just returned from a short trip where having our laptop with us saved us a lot of time and aggravation.

Hey Rooman! Good to hear from you. I think we will slowly see wifi on many flights of 2 or more hours (bigger planes).
We use a Sprint wireless card and do on the spot research for whatever topic comes up while we are driving down the road. For example… We learned all sorts of interesting information about the Great Salt Lake …. stuff that wasn’t at the rest stop. And we learned it while we were driving, so no lost time in getting to our “destination” just because there was something interesting on the route.
