Xatshow:
create slideshows and screensavers with ease!!
Xatshow is a freeware program. It can be downloaded through the following link:
Xatshow.com Although the program is free – there is a more robust version which can be purchased for $39 or $99 for free upgrades for life!
If you get lost in the program, you can visit the support page at xat.com for great FLASH tutorials and other help.
Since the Xat website does such a good job with tutorial, I figured I would list some tips that have helped me with this program.
1. Make two folders on your desktop. One labeled Photos for Show and the other Finished Show.
These two folders will act as source folder and destination folder for you final project.
2. In Xatshow, click on the browse button next to each area to point to these new folders.
3. Copy all of the photos that you want to use in your slideshow into the Photos for Show folder.
4. Save the finished show into the Finished Show folder.
Download this demo screensaver I made.
1.46 MB – Approximately 10 minutes on a dial-up line.
