Yes, I’m still out here

Yes, I’m still out here

It’s interesting to me that many of my calls for onsite computer help start with:  ”Are you sill making home/office visits for computer help?” My answer is always, yes, making onsite computer help and training calls is and has been my only source of income since 1998.

For today’s post, I decided to give a little more information about me, my web site, and my computer business here in Grand Junction, Colorado.

I started my onsite computer training and troubleshooting business in 1995. It started as an evening and weekend gig to see how things would fare as I continued to work as a Physical Therapist (yes, my degree is in Physical Therapy). As the business grew, I transitioned out of Physical Therapy and into my business full-time. I rarely do weekend or evening appointments these days since my days stay pretty full. However, I often bring computers or laptops that have problems home with me to give a client quicker service.

In 1995, I also started my web site (then a personal site subdirectory tagged onto a local ISP). I used it to post computer tips, notes from the local computer users group I started in 1998, and then radio show information and notes when the radio show started in 1999.

Today, I still make my living by visiting computer users all over the greater Grand Valley area of western Colorado (from the Utah border to the Mesa and all points in-between.

If you need computer help and live in the Grand Junction area, you can reach me most efficiently by calling 257-0825. If I don’t answer, leave a message, and I will return your call promptly.

PS:  The photo attached to this article is a younger, slimmer, and more follicled (and less gray) version of my present self…and the truck is long gone now as well.

Look at all that thick, voluptuous hair! I think Dr. Evil aso started with a person site subdirectory on an ISP, too. Today, teaching copy and paste; tomorrow, the world!
