My son, Vinny, is entering his freshmen year of college this fall and has worked hard at trying to find scholarships to help defray today’s high cost of advanced education. Recently he created a video about the dangers of texting and driving as an entry into a national contest for a scholarship. This particular one is pretty much a popularity vote.
Vinny didn’t ask me to post this on my site because he doesn’t roll like that (to use today’s parlance), but I think he did a great job with the video that’s wanted to share his work (and future chosen career in film editing and cinematography) with you. This is a letter he sent to his friends and family…if you wouldn’t mind taking 30 seconds to watch his video and vote for him, I would appreciate it. If you decide to share his video and ask your friends and family to also vote for him, then I would be even more appreciative.

Hi all,
I know this is a shameless way of promoting a contest and video, but I could really use some help winning a video contest!
All you need to do is go to the following link, make a quick account (it works best connecting to facebook, and if not it’s still easy) and vote. You don’t even have to ever go to the website again, I’ve been signed up for weeks and they don’t send any junkmail.
