Great show, missed listening direct, however as my time was limited I skipped through the podcast especially looking for the AVG anti-virus announcement and couldn’t find it. Everything else was very informative. Have you printed out this announcement? If so, I’d like to read it. Thanks as always for your good advice and glad to see Adam back.
1st question: RE: AVG…..So then, UNinstall avg and install avast? Simply go to avast.com and the free version will be there? Can I expect my old card games will not like avast, as it has recently not liked AVG?
2nd question: Can YOU fix sound remotely? Mate is about to go bonkers. I messed up his sound. Don’t know how I did it, or how to fix it. The only way to explain it is, e/thing has an echo. Sounds like it’s in a tunnel? I expect you’ll know exactly what I mean. 🙂 THANX!
Avast will not interfere with any of your games or other software. And yes, uninstall AVG before installing Avast. Good luck.
UNable to submit a question. Not accepting the code, which I enter many times……?

Please disregard my 2nd question. I did my first RESTORE.
…..AFTER I found the great instructions HERE! However my 1st question remains.
THANX!
I just updated AVG and is not playing well with my laptop on win 7
is there an uninstall toll for AVG 2011 ? AVG did not uninstall right now it wants restart all the time and I cannot reinstall it
Might be easier to try System Restore Rooman, but the link to the removal tools are here: http://www.avg.com/us-en/download-tools
hmmmm, speaking of security. I’ve just uninstalled AVG, and Installed AVAST.
I notice I no longer see a security note (as I used to see with AVG) in my emails. Does that mean my incoming emails are no longer protected? (as they were with AVG? Or is it that it simply does not SHOW it as such?
All your messages are being scanned Avast, there just isn’t an advertising option for the email like AVG had (that’s what that little message was all about…advertising).
