You might be using an older version of OSX?
The export option is in PREVIEW not Adobe reader
I have Mac OSX 10.6.8, with Preview 5.0.3, and I don’t see the Export option under the File menu.
I found the Encrypt option under Save As
This worked perfectly and saved me a lot of time! Thank you.
