I answer this question a lot throughout my week both in person and in email, so I thought it was a great one to start with today. Remember that this tip applies to both files and folders. Enjoy and let me know what other quick tips you would like to see!
How to rename files or folders in Windows – Video Tip

I like the 43-second idea! How did you pick that number? You did not mention a 4th way to rename a file (the way I use). Single left-click on the file name. Then single left-click a second time. You can then type in the new name. The only caveat is that with this way, the file extension is not preserved (unless you purposely highlight everything BUT the extension), so you will need to type that again as well. Looking forward to more “43-second” videos!
Thanks Craig! I, also, like and utilize the two consecutive single clicks, but so hard to explain…even in a video. I chose 43 seconds because I like odd numbers, and didn’t want to run with the normal 30 or 60 second spots which is too common.

Please try again. There was a glitch yesterday I noticed as well, but seems to be working now. Thanks.
