Tonight, Matt and I held court completely by ourselves since we had zero questions via phone calls. We think the great weather chased everyone outside. The discussion was great, however, and we talked about AOL, Google, Microsoft, Apple and the new iPad, how to save money on your tech and communications bills and much more. Part of the much more was a surprise phone call from Adam who was in Las Vegas! Have a listen!

After hearing your comments about the number/quality of extensions available for the Chrome browser, I thought I’d take another look at it. That’s when I found out you have to sign on to a Google account to download and install a new extension. You may consider the complaint to be nitpicking, but it’s enough to insure that Chrome will not be my primary browser.
Hmmm, that’s strange that you had to create a google account for an extension…was it a Google developed extension?
The extension was PhotoFit Me, and doesn’t appear to be Google developed. When I went back to look, I did notice that there are a few extensions that don’t require you to sign in to install. Strangely enough, two extensions that have “(by Google)” in the description are among them.
I would have called in but I must have missed the show. Turned the radio on at 5:30 and didn’t hear you guys.
Great information all the way around!!
Darn it…we had a long song leading us in that night. Maybe you can catch us next time! Did you get your new iPad yet??
