Recently, Google started rolling out a new version of their address book (contact list) for Gmail. If you are a Gmail user and use the service via your browser, you need to know about these changes.
I believe Google has streamlined and made the address book more attractive and easier to utilize. This short tutorial highlights the changes and shows you how to take advantage of the changes that were made. Some of the changes highlighted in the video include:
- New edit screen for adding new contacts or editing existing ones
- Improved searching of contacts
- Scroll through entire list of contacts instead of just 50 at a time
- Manage contacts better with the Merge Contacts feature
