Newsletter poll

For all you newsletter/email update subscribers, I have a poll at the web site asking for your preference of weekly versus daily emails. Go to the web site and vote for your choice. Thank you.

  1. Either daily or weekly is fine. I appreciate the computer tips. What I would prefer is simple “Question” and “Answer” formats. I prefer written information to videos. Thank you.

    1. I wish I had the time to write out all those answers Bobbie…maybe some enterprising person out there wants to listen to the video and transcribe it. If so, I would post it with the video.

  2. Rick, I do enjoy the helpful info. you & Adam give out to we learners. Thank you! I chose weekly for your newsletter as I feel swamped w/so MUCH reading from all sources!! Even when I go to your web site, I am over whelmed w/all the reading I have to do to try to find what I’m looking for. Is that your fault? Heck no! It’s simply “that’s how it is” since computer info. is so many, many….(seemingly into infinity)!
But I do appreciate you & your service to all of us!!
    Joan

    1. It looks like weekly is definitely going to win. However, since I have a serious personality flaw that tries to be all things to all people, I will see if the service I’m using allows all of you to choose….thanks for all the comments and voicing your opinion.

  3. I like the appearance of your new site. However, it seems confusing to me. In that, WHERE do I make a comment? What’s the difference between sending a comment (this one) or asking a question (previous one)
Why did the previous (question) not show up in the comments? Unsure if and where this may post.
Last but not least: This was the prior (question)
Why is your email count going down?
Last wk it was at 2999. So I signed up my mate, so that you’d make a nice # of 3000. However, today it reads 2997….That can’t be good. At that rate, you will never make your goal…. ;(
Am I hallucinating? Has anyone else noticed this?
Should you be concerned on the newsletter subscription counter???
    In the meantime, Havea Goodun…..

    1. You found the correct places it appears! The newsletter number keeps oscillating because I’m not getting more users subscribing than unsubscribing so they keep off setting each other. Thanks for signing up, but now we need to get hundreds (thousands) more to sign up as well to offset the losers who are leaving the ranks of the smart people.

  4. Now I see there’s obviously a difference in whether one clicks on ‘ask a question’ or ‘leave a reply’
The question doesn’t appear to post. The latter posts in the comments section.
However, the question still remains on subscription count reversal.

  5. I like the emails daily, as I am more likely to read them daily than weekly. A lot of times I deleted the weekly emails without reading them when I was busy. Now, I read each daily email, before deleting.

    1. I thought most people would like it as well, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. You can, however, still subscribe to the RSS feed on your home page portal or just visit the site quickly every day. Thanks for your support.

  6. Can I change my vote on your poll about how often I want to receive your newsletter?

I misread your question, thinking you asked how often I receive your newsletter. I entered “once a day”. Since you actually asked how often I WANT to receive your newsletter, my vote is “once a week”.

    1. That would be illegal Margaret…once the chad is pushed from the ballot I can’t tamper. However, your revised vote seems to be with the majority any way. 😉

        1. That’s because you can only vote one time from each location…unlike the U.S. system where multiple votes are allowed and encouraged.
