A bunch of questions this week about removing fake security software. For folks with similar problems, please refer to this article I posted earlier this year regarding removing these nasty infections and this article to help prevent the problem. Other questions this week included recommendations for website creation, a stubborn restarting computer, Palm handheld question and a problem with the HelpMeRick.com polls. Duhh?? I installed Mozilla and now have no abilities to open attachments (video) forwarded via email? Help??
Do you mean Thunderbird?
In any event, opening those attachments is one of the easiest ways going to pick up a case of malwareitis.
Using Firefox should have no bearing on opening videos from your email. The only thing you might want to try is installing the Flash plugin for Firefox from adobe.com
At your advice I installed Mozilla and am adjusting but many attachment videos in my e-mail will not open as they did easily with IE saying to change URL or add http? Advice?
