If you want to find out when a particular web page was last updated, head to the web page and type (or copy and paste) the following line into your address bar (URL box)
javascript:alert(document.lastModified)
This will open a small window with the date the web page was last updated. Your browser must be java-enabled in order to do this little trick and works best on static web pages.
Very cool tip! Thanks Michael for sharing that gem of information.
