Todd, Robert, Steve, Peggi, Shannon, Dennis, Terry, Russel, Theresa, San Miguel, Gary, Sandi, Harold, Joan, Pam, John, Belmira, Justin, Diane, Anne, Andrew (who paid $5 to be first this week), Regina, Dave, and Kathy asked questions about: obtaining old computers to experiment with, problems with a network controller, using Microsoft Security Essentials, working with video files from a Panasonic camcorder, creating mailing lists, running older programs in Windows 7, increasing volume from speakers, watching TV on a computer, upgrading to AVG 9 (few of these this week), linking to my web site, troubleshooting a high speed connection, setting up Windows 7 for an elderly neighbor, online backup question, basic requirements for Ubuntu, lost icons and taskbar, slow computer problem, instant shutdown icon in Vista, and a laptop keyboard problem started by a cat.
Here’s the video:
Rick, glad you didn’t devote time to my questions.
I kept at it, and resolved both issues. As usual, I do not understand what I did for the labels. But I did correct the issue I had. And now have a full page of mailing labels…..That I used to print one atta time, believe it or not!
As for the old Paint Shop Pro program, with diligence, I discovered 2 dll’s that I had to replace. I have NO idea when they ‘escaped’. But I have them back now. When, how, & why these things happen is a strong mystery to me!
Thanx so much for taking the time to make mention!
Good for perseverance! Glad you are up and running.
Rick ~ I just watched the 069 videocast twice looking for your response to my question re: font print out size for Firefox. You had answered me in 068 for IE. I see my name listed in this videocast as well – but no answer….. is this an episode of the Twilight Zone.
Thanks ~
Peggi
Rick – nevermind I figured it out 🙂
