Today, I visited my 2,500th customer!
I love milestones and always strive to look for them and then achieve them in almost everything I do. I started my business here in Grand Junction, Colorado a little over 13 years ago and have been pounding the pavement ever since. I never would have stayed in business this long if not for the word-of-mouth advertising I get from the 2,500 homes and businesses I have worked with through the years.
However, it always surprises me when I get a call that starts like this; “Are you still helping people with their computers?” I’m not sure what folks think I would be doing otherwise, but the answer is YES, I am still helping people with their computers and loving it. I would much rather teach people how to use their computers rather than fix and troubleshoot problems, but I indeed do both and have no qualms admitting that there is no one who does it better in Western Colorado and possibly the world.
The only way I would cut back on accepting new clients and continuing my day-to-day business is if I could get this confounded web site to take off and be popular enough to derive revenue from my writing, tips, and online help.
Again, thank you for support over the years, and remember that I am still out here to help you and hope to visit my 3,000th customer before my 15th anniversary!
Well, darn, Rick, about your web site being slow to take off. I know I contacted everyone on my email list several times to tell them about you & Adam, your classes, former radio show, & how I trust you guys to give out excellent info.
Thought you’d like to hear something positive, despite the lack of hits.
Sincerely,
Thanks Joan…it just takes a few more people like you to help evangelize the site and it will continue to grow.
