I really love English Bulldogs. Recently I became aware of a common pet scam that is based on every other over seas Internet scam. Someone from Cameroon posts a desired breed up for a ridiculously low price. He/she asks for money plus shipping. You never get the dog. Here is my recent correspondence with one such scammer. I have resorted the posts from oldest to newest so you can enjoy the events as they occurred. For reference, here are the photos the scammer sent with the email. Keep in mind that these are the actual size photos that were sent!

I did give them my home address phone number, and mine and my husbands name before i realized something was fishy then i came across this website as i was talking to them. they wouldnt give me a number they kept calling private, and then they didnt want to give me the pets traveling agency’s name or number and they kept insisting that i hurry up and send the money through western union, do you guys think the information i gave them will harm me in any way?
I just had the same thing happen to me. I gave them names a number and address… It did turn out to be a cameroon scam. I guess we will see what happens. 🙁 Luckily I did some research before I paid them.
It happens to me as well. Was trying to find about the courier in the website but couldn’t find any. Everything seems to be so weird when you have to make the payment to Cameroon. I did give them my information as well. Can I know any feedback from you guys if it pose any harm since I have given them my details.

I had the same thing happen about a Florida girl who said she moved to South Dakota for her graduate studies. She kept telling me her sister was in an accident and she coulsd not pay the full amount and needed me to cover it. Granted I was under the assumption that I woud be recieving the English Bulldog puppy that day. Three days later and almost 800 dollars later still no puppy. I was contacted by a company called Pet Travel.com to be informed that I was involved in a pet scam! Why would people do such a thing. I am glad I was told before I wired more money. Wish I had caught on to the signs before I forked out money!!
The greed and evil associated with money will never cease to amaze me. Using God and animals on good people to tug at their heart will surely be punished in life with these people. I am a doctor and work in a hosptial..I see unbelievable suffering in the end days of some people’s lives. They always want to be right with God because they know they are dying but these people will have a lot to make right if at all. I also believe the low lifes that are using dogs in dog fights, puppymills with deplorable conditions, and abusing animals for no good reason will never be forgiven. Animals..all of them..have just as much right to this earth as we do.
I just got 2 responses from 2 different scammers. One for an English bulldog puppy and one for teacup yorkie puppies. both of which i found on ebay. they even sent me an official looking email from the Indianapolis airport. Too bad it was full of bad English, misspellings and asked me to send money to Cameroon! I’m wondering if there’s someone i can forward this information to to turn them in?

If they are doing this on ebay you can report the listing as fraud. Just look for the report item link on the listing and report it for fraud. You can report an item on ebay for being fake, fraud, excessive shipping..etc
Ebay has a responsibilty to get them off..and they are not allowed to solicit payment away from paypal so if they did that then report them for that too

I wanted to get my dad a Jack Russell Terrier for Fathers day, and i came across this add, the man/lady seemed so sweet and as if they had all of there information together. i payed them the money through money gram, and i got an email asking from an airline. It looked pretty legit, until they asked for $780 more. i told the lady the deal was off and i couldnt afford that. She kept telling me to try and ask people for the money and that she would ask her pastor!!! What kind of a person does that? i told her no, and the next day she emailed me saying she came up with the money and that i still needed to pay $50. luckily nefore i went to pay her, my dad found this site and showed me. I busted in to tears. I have never felt so taken advantage of. This person is absolutely AWFUL. it makes me sick to think that there are people like this.
Lol same thing happened to me too yesterday. And I found out something, all of the scammers always say something like god bless or bless you after all of their emails. So the same thing happened and the transportation fee was $800. I thought I was gonna feint because I already paid the him/her $200 for the dog, so I said deals off. Guess what, he told me to get a shark loan or something. WOW, like I would do that, so I told him my dad was a police man and that I would put him to jail but after that he didn’t answer. You know why? He makes a new email after every scam! I wish my dad really was a cop. I email the transportation company asking them for a phone number and that was it, didnt ask anything else, but the reply……….SOMETHING HILARIOUS, so I email the transportation company, and they reply with so much spelling errors and this is what it said ” please JUST GO AHEAD AND SEND THE MONEY SO YOUR PET CAN GO” what kind of official transportation company says ” o yeah go ahead and just send the money??? SO OFF TOPIC HERE.

When they called me it sounded legit until they sent me an email from their so called site. It was riddled with errors and when I tried to click on their Discover card link to pay it sent me to a site not authorized by Discover. They then tried to have me wire them money and when I double checked through Western Union’s site there is a list of names based from Cameroon. It was on that list as well as the fact that the pet service that emailed me has no website what so ever.
P.S. If you really do have these puppies and want to find them a good home then send me your info so I can personally send my friend to come pick them up otherwise if you are part of the scam I pray that god have mercy on you when judgement day arrives.
The airport agency called me again reporting that they are a legit company but are now asking for a holding fee. It wasn’t until after I emailed the person saying I knew it was a real company that they started to call me. Please don’t be scammed by them

My scammer said his “SON” was studying in Cameroon so he would like to send money who was far off studying. So I tell him that I can not trust him because I have already been in incidents of scamming before. So he tells me to hide the DCTM or whatever code and send the picture of the reciept. That seemed to be pretty convincing to me, so I did that. Later he doesnt respond for a few days so I contacted the western union for a refund, but they said that it already went through!!!!! I told them that it was impossible because they was no way to get through without knowing the question and answer. They told me I was correct so I thought about it. IT MUST HAVE BEEN THE SCAMMER FROM A WEEK AGO THE SAME SCAMMER.
PEOPLE LET ME TELL YOU THIS, IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU FILE IN A REPORT ON A SCAMMER BECAUSE HIS IDENTITY IS FAKE. Before he was Jose Cappinco but now his name is Jesica Mogan! This has happened to me many times! ( I never fall for it), but the first time I came close! A couple I have came in contact with were Cindy Este this one was weird from the beginning! Her location on Oodle MarketPlace was in Pa, and then she gave the I’m a God Fairing Woman in Cameroon. I then knew that was a scam. I was also scammed by Jennifer Kims, and Ella Saad.
I’ve already paid $800 and they ask for more. they have told me that if I don’t pay I will have problems with the law. what do I have to do? I am not willing to pay any more money but I don’t wand to have problems with law. can anyone help me?

These puppies are still available and set for a new loving family with so much love and affection.Nick is 11 weeks old now and Moly is 12 Weeks and Nick is the male while Moly is the female .They are AKC registered and have all their AKC ,health and vet papers.they are up to date on all shots ,vet examined and very healthy ,raised around my children and other household pets,they are having a sweet and lovely temperament.Moly and Nick are very lovely and playful,they are House trained and loves the company of kids since day one.have very good and lovely personality every heart will desire.They weigh about 2.1lbs and will pursue to weigh about 4.2lbs when fully grown.The reason why I am giving them out is because I just relocated to a new and Non-Pet apartment in Dayton, Ohio. ive come across many scams like this but did you know you can pay for animals transport and crates right at your airport? i always say i have no phone and rent hotels cuz i constantly move around for work and so they dont try to pry my info every site tells you not to send money through western union money orders etc cuz of these scams so first off just dont be stupid try to get their info so you can pay for the pup at airport and say you refuse to pay for the dog until it gets to your house do to scams if they persist its a scam
I was just emailing a lady about a Maltese but she says she is at St,Helena City Cameroon on mission work. After reading all this I wonder if this is a scam. She has been trying to hurry up and send the puppy to me and has been asking for all of my information! She told me I do not have to pay for the puppy, I only have to pay for airfare which is 165 dollars!! She has to be a scam!! So glad I saw your comment!

i am a Cameroonian and i can say that not all Cameroonian are scammers.I have some very good and close American friends and i dont like what these scammers are doing……i have carried out some research on scamming and i will give you guys some tips,i hope it will help many Americans from being scammed……..first of all,u guys should know that all those dogs like bulldog,yorkie etc,are species that doesnt exist in cameroon,all those pics are taken from the internet,and also parrots and monkeys are protected species which means no individual can owned them,so puppies transactions with cameroon are scam.any transaction using western union and money gram are scam.you guys should be aware that all free adoptions of puppies and only flight payment is required are all scams….and note that flight from cameroon to the US is around 1200 dollars,so any flight money that is lesser than that is a scam…..also these guys use one call accessory called magicjack which is having a US based phone number,so when ever they called,you will think the call is within the US.also these scammer now have people to pick their money from western union and money gram in the US and sent it to them in cameroon,so they no longer say that they are from cameroon,so you guys need to be very careful as from now…..so guys i adviced you guys to save money and go to the breeder directly and buy your puppies,cat,parrots and monkey….please share this with many people as possible…these gys are spoiling the good name of cameroon,so they must be stopped
